Efficient gutters are essential to the integrity of your house or office, but they are often overlooked and neglected. They provide an ideal environment for moss and other vegetation to grow and the resultant trapped water can be a breeding ground for algae.
Blocked gutters can result in water cascading down windows and walls with subsequent damage, damp patches on exterior and interior walls and mould on interior walls and furnishings.
Removing unwanted debris from gutters is best done at the beginning of winter, after the leaves have fallen, to ensure the gutters are clear before the winter's rain arrives.
